NYC-based Hadar Baron is an international singer, songwriter, and musician, who feels truly at home on the stage. Using singing and songwriting as a cathartic experience, Hadar welcomes audiences to listen to her musical diary with her original songs, and hopes to connect listeners to music the way she has all her life. Having taught herself piano and guitar at a young age, music has been at the forefront of her artists career.
Through melodious lyrics, runs and riffs, and an alternative-indie-pop-rock vibe that won’t fit in just one genre box, Hadar’s live sets of both originals and original takes on covers immerse listeners in her musical storytelling.
Hadar released her debut EP in May 2017, which is titled “Gold” as inspired by a saying Hadar heard: “Turn your heartaches into gold”. The EP’s 4 original songs (Upper Hand, Spring Fling, Comprehend, and Grain of Salt) do just that. Influenced from both American and Israeli music, Hadar was inspired by artists like Amy Winehouse, Yebba, Shiri Maimon, Roni Dalumi, and more.
“Blending flecks of folk with harmonious acoustics, the Israeli born and New Jersey-based singer-songwriter is finding her footing in the most unforgiving of industries[…]
Crafting a sound reminiscent of soulful songstress Joss Stone but with an altogether contemporary edge, this track is a grower

“‘Upper Hand’ by Hadar Baron is reminiscent of the 90s greats: Dar, Liz, Tracy Bonham. Dig into the bass riffs and stay for Baron’s triumphant vocals.”
